Espresso Makers: From cheap to extravagant
Espresso makers can enhance your espresso moments by making them simpler, more convenient, and more portable. For
those of us who like it simple, this is for you. Whether you need it fast by turning on the stove top or you’re
on the road and don’t want to hunt for your favorite espresso stand in the bleary-eyed dawn on your way to some
unfamiliar place, there is an espresso maker for you. Whether you’re headed for a conference, the fishing boat,
or the camper, there is something pretty special for espresso drinkers on the go that is a must have.
The original espresso maker has a striking resemblance to a perk coffee pot. Coincidence or not? Making espresso
on the stove top is fast, easy, and traditional. Instead of plugging this espresso maker in, simply load it with
your favorite espresso blend and turn the stove to low to medium heat. The water in the bottom boiler section boils,
creates steam, and forces water through the espresso and filter into the upper chamber. It is basically a pressure
perk sort of thing. In moments you will have espresso at your fingertips, and that’s what matters most. The
Espresso Zone carries a large selection of espresso makers from manufacturers such as Bialetti and Guido Bergna.
For a little more, you can combine your espresso maker with thermal innovation to keep your espresso warm long
after the heat is off. Espresso is brewed directly into a glass-lined thermos and a tight sealing lid. The
Bialetti Junior, Bialetti Moka, Musa, and Kontessa are brands of stovetop espresso makers that comes in 1-12 cup
espresso capacity starting at just about $15. If you can't afford a $15 espresso maker, than you're in trouble!
Espresso Makers On the Road
Sometimes obligations and life in general puts us on the road and scrambling for our morning espresso. How would
you like to be able to brew a cup of espresso by plugging in a combination espresso maker and sealed cup into any
12-volt outlet such as a cigarette lighter, boat, or camper? Simply add water, ground coffee, and plug it in.
The espresso is brewed and dispensed into a sealed cup which is removable for drinking. The espresso maker and
cup are made of ABS plastic, comes in awesome colors, and a soft carrying case. The color selection is pretty
cool, too.

The French press. Nothing could be easier than the French press for making morning coffee. The French press is a
carafe, usually glass, but not always, that has a lift out screen on a long push rod. A coarse ground espresso
blend is best. Use 1 tablespoon per cup of coffee desired. Spoon the coffee into the bottom of the carafe. You
do this half asleep right? The heat water from the microwave or kettle is poured of the grounds. Still not to
tricky for those half awake moments. The coffee is allowed to sit for a few minutes while you get creamer, sugar,
or a spoon to stir, and then when you’re ready, push the screen down into the carafe with the push rod which forces
the grounds to the bottom and the coffee through the sieve and to the top. In a matter of moments, you have fresh,
delicious coffee. It is the fast way to a tasty Americana that can be accomplished by those who should not operate
anything hot or dangerous early in the morning. If you’re on a tight schedule in the morning, want fresh coffee,
but don’t want to stand in the kitchen insisting that the coffee pot hurry up and the whole timer/measure and
you’re good for tomorrow kind of planning really gets to you after a while, then the French press may be a great
solution for you. It also travels well. Simply pack your French press and some coffee in your bags and you’re
set. Whether you want brew your espresso with a fancy espresso maker or not, you're sure to find something that
meets your tastes and budget.
